There's just so much to explore...every time I walk 5 feet in any direction I feel like I just started some other side quest lol. Maybe the perceived discrepancy in sky islands vs the depths can be explained by observing that the parts of the depths where there's nothing really there would be the parts of the sky islands that are just sky? Haven't played Diablo 4 yet, but have some friends that are really really into that franchise and have been enjoying it a lot.
Oh, that was a typo, I meant Sky Islands are not as big as depths.
But there are many Sky Islands which are above one another, well maybe not many, but still a few. I remember seeing one that had 6-7 floors.
Also, if the full sky was covered, there would be no sun, moon, rain etc. so they couldn't do that either, makes sense from that point of view.
That makes sense, although I’m convinced the sky could be covered and I’m still going to start pouring just as I try to climb something lol
