I interacted with you recently and you were nothing but a troll. After upsetting people you now seem surprised people lash back lol.
It's not them being in an echo chamber, it's retaliation for the way you treat people. Actions have consequences, please don't act like you're some innocent victim. Everyone can see your post history.
Yep, my post history is public: https://lemmy.world/u/UniversalMonk?page=1&sort=New&view=Posts
And what makes you think I was "surprised" at any backlash?! Friend, I've been getting backlash since my first day here. There is no "surprise" on my end.
And how was I troll to you? How am I treating people?
You seem confused at least by why people are doing this. But anyone rational person would see how you behave and understand. You just lack self awareness. It's not them wanting an echo chamber, it's you being the annoying kid in school that won't take a hint.
I'll link you same one I linked before, my one and only interaction with you that was cringe af.

Let’s be clear—our very first interaction started with you insulting me by calling me an “edgelord,” which is a blatant provocation. As seen in your link: https://lemmy.world/comment/12909326
You initiated the conversation by insulting me, and now you're falsely accusing me of trolling when I was simply responding to your attack.
If anything, you set the tone for that exchange, and yet you’re acting as if I’m the one in the wrong. It’s weird for you to insult someone and then play the victim when they respond.
Do you think it's acceptable to personally attack someone in your very first interaction with them, even tho they haven't attacked you?!
That's your argument for calling me a troll? You're saying I'm a troll because I responded to your unprovoked insult to me?! And I still didn't personally attack you after that. lol
Lol if you want to copy/paste responses we can do that:
Yeah, because you said something cringe. You then tried to have a convo and as soon as I did back you just trolled.
You set the tone with your horrible comment. If someone says something horrible you can't expect hugs and kisses buddy. You really can't help but play the victim can you?
You insulted me without provocation. I responded. Now you call me a troll. Dude, that's what's happening here. But this isn't really the thread for that. I came here talking about a bike rack. You came here to call me a troll.
Or were you here looking at bike racks too? And we just mysteriously crossed paths here?
You were being cringe and got upset about it. When given the chance to have a real convo you couldn't handle it.
I mean ya, I'm subbed here and saw you and recognized the name and laughed.
I wasn't upset though. I replied. You got mad. Now you think I'm a troll. That's what happened. Dude, it's in the link to the conversation. lol
And hey, we are both subbed here, so see? We have something in common. So we can be friends and move on.
I never got mad, why you gotta tell me how I feel to sell this narrative.
We can for sure move on, I don't think we have enough in common to be besties though lol.
I wasn't mad either. So see? We're not mad.
Let's be friends now. I think maybe besties in the future. After the election, maybe? Harris will win, you can relax, etc.
I'm not worried about the election either, I'm relaxed, especially right now. You keep thinking you know how I feel lol, kinda weird...
Ok, then we're good. See? You say you're sorry, I'll say I'm sorry. And then we can just hate on the people who drive cars like shit. Deal?
You've worn me down. I'll say I disagree with some of your world views but I can apologize and move on. I hate cars more than I hate any single person.
And I apologize as well.
And hey, we agree on cars. I just bought an e-bike a few days ago, and I've been nearly killed twice already. Fucking drivers, totally ignoring bike lanes. Fuckers.
Got a high speed e-scooter myself, it has made me build some empathy for the bikers. Cars are crazy.
I've had my e-scoot for about nine months! Pic here: https://lemmy.world/post/20575626
But for my new commute, the roads aren't as smooth. So I went bigger and got the bike. I have to say the scoot is way more fun so I'll keep it.
