Jareth is not allowed to be completely gay. He can be 99% gay, but I require that 1% to remain ungay so I can have a chance with this fictional character.
Also Sarah, after she's grown up about 15 years. She's also not allowed to be 100% straight for the same reason.
This is a totally normal way to think, right? ๐
Labyrinth is a world where wishes come true, especially sexually charged but confused ones.
So I think your logic is spot on.
Jareth seems at least a little ungay considering his infatuation with Sarah.
