That's fair. My gamedev account is on .world and honestly it's been fine, we're not savages over there or anything :D
I've found a new crochet community that only has a couple people but they're at least trying to post things !crochet@lemmy.ca (direct link)

And a couple of sewing ones but neither have much going on.
Still, all it takes is for us to get stuck in making content, right? :)
For sure, I had, great experiences on world so far, I think they're just worried about the possible future, perhaps.
Thanks! I'll join those as well with an alt account and hopefully we'll be able to grow them.
Just checking back in with an update, I found a brand new cross stitch (and embroidery) community too. It's on one of the defederated servers but since you have an alt accout already...
