I'm gonna huff some copium and say that he probably has to set this up in advance, regardless of whether or not he wins the bid, as if he didn't then that could slow the takeover down (slower than it already has been). Ineos are already registered in the UK so we won't see anything like this for SJR.
Given the rumor mill, I think the Qatari seemed like the preferred choice for the Glazers. I hope that this ends with some funds for the squad.
Completely agreed on this. Just feel like they'd have done that earlier or not al all depending on if they we're winning or not. I can't see them backing down now.
