I will be playing the Kamala v Trump Debate at the link above. I played the Biden v Trump debate on the same channel. For the Biden v Trump debate, we had around 200 hexbear users in the chat. Before/after the debate, I will play news and commentary related to the debate.

In a just world Kamala's answer on climate change would've gotten her laughed off the stage.

What even was her answer? I feel like I entered a fugue state, I remember the question but I don't remember either person answering about climate.

It was a bunch of rambling nonsense but in the word salad, she implied that natural gas was a renewable energy source and said something along the lines of the US building out renewable energy and manufacturing (which helps, somehow?)

implied that natural gas was a renewable energy source

literally something i've only heard from ultraconservative climate denialists

It's absolutely bonkers. If the moderators were actually cool instead of your standard centrist corporate invertebrates, they would've asked if the candidates have any idea what 2 C warming would do to the United States. I would really love to see what the "at least she's better than Trump" crowd would do with being forced to accept that their preferred candidate had no plan, either.
