For about a year, Jam2go has been uploading videos showing and explaining the real-time effects he's been using in his games, like that 00s digital camera look. That's interspersed with silly tangents like figuring out exactly where popular songs take place.

Star Citizen is another game that has implemented this level of detail, you just can't smash the screens, yet...

I bought SC years ago when I was a single freshman kid in college. I now am a grown adult with a family, a home, career, a stock market portfolio and a 401k retirement fund. When the fuck will that God dammed game fucking release?

I think the going saying at this point is "2 more years".

They've definitely continued to pump out more features over the years. And some players have finally gotten to test out jump points to the next system "Pyro"... But I could easily see them continuing to develop this game for another 3-5 years before we see it in beta.
