Hi, happy Thursday everyone. Just a small release which brings an option for per-account settings, settings now auto-save (no more 'save' button), and an option for turning off volume button comment navigation. and a minor bug fix. Going to be testing it a bit and then hopefully it will be live later today.

Changes

  • Per-account settings
  • Auto-save settings
  • Setting for volume navigation
  • Fixed an issue with comment creation sometimes not including the post when adding a top-level comment.

Still loving all the updates and thanks for the amazing work!

It's not really a bug, just wonky behavior. When viewing a large image that requires zooming, moving around in the image seems to make connect close the image. So I end up trying to view the image several times, or get frustrated enough to download the image just to view it ๐Ÿฅฒ

Yeah, also seeing this. The tap to close thing should be an option, not default.

Also experiencing this, which is quite frustrating because I need to zoom in on most images due to bad eyes. Would love for it to be fixed.

Are you on the beta? I think I have it fixed in .97. if not that's okay too it should be fixed in the next release!

Ah, updated Connect and can confirm it behaves normally, sorry about that! (Thought it had already updated)

I've been using the beta for a few days and can confirm it seems to work as expected now. There's been a few times where zooming while also moving to a corner too quickly may close an image, but that may be a gesture to close the image, and it's difficult to reproduce. Thanks for your help :)

Thanks for the fast response, I really appreciate it. I've joined the beta now, I will test it when I see .97 available, and I'll get back to you.
