It's not even the concept of state. The existence of American and European "gardens", as one Eurocracker put it, is heavily predicated on the heavy border restrictions imposed on global south countries. That's what makes this so ironic. America has cages for brown children from across the border. Western Europe is murdering refugees by drowning them in the ocean.
