Calling the war in Ukraine genocidal is just peak stupidity. There's no ethnic cleansing, no supression of the ukrainian language, no massacres of ukrainians (the much claimed Bucha was chronologically impossible to have been done by russian forces). The only thing the accusers really had was the transfer of children, which turned out to be simple evacuation of children without parents or with the parents not being found. The children were handed over without incident when the parents demanded it. To make it even more cynical, over 100 of these children were found in the west, not in Russia.
Meanwhile the 8 years of civil war before 22 and the deliberate shelling of civilians by Ukraine even now? With such highlights as the Alley of Angels and the shelling of nuclear plants? cricket sounds
I chose to believe that they are talking about the genocide of Russian minorities in the Donbass. (Even though I know that's not the case)
If I still had a twitter account, I would reply to them that thankfully, Russia intervened to stop the genocide, so we don't need to include Ukraine in the list anymore.

Only what I learned back when not everyone went "jabba utini!". Ukranian artillery managed a perfect hit. On a elementary school. Almost 150 children died.
