I've been contemplating options for generating high level (7+) PCs for use in an OSE one-shot.

Methods I've thought of so far:

Appendix P of the 1e DMG,
Using OSE's Expert Adventurer NPC generation rules

Has anyone used either of these? Any other recommendations?
