@CallForCongress

I honestly hope nobody is buying the laundry list of things Joe Biden says he’s going to get done in a second term

First, one of those things is not stopping genocide

Second, most of it is the progressive agenda that Democrats have never seriously fought for, in fact much of it stymied by the rotating villains in the party. It’s stuff Democrats could have done in Biden’s first term if they were serious

Dems are nothing but bait and switch

@CallForCongress

We can condemn political violence all we want, but as MLK said, “my own government is the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today”

Trump, Biden, and much of Congress has engaged in openly violent and hateful rhetoric and actions as a matter of course

We are shocked at incidents like today’s shooting. But are we surprised? Have we not created a powder keg of war, animosity and poverty, driven by the corruption of the ruling class that seeks to divide us and divert our attention while they steal from us both overtly and covertly

What happened today is to be condemned. But so is all of the violence perpetrated by the imperialists and the war machine. We cannot expect that the violent and hateful actions and rhetoric of our political leaders will not have consequences

Unfortunately, incidents like today will likely result in increasing the power of the authoritarian surveillance state and a diminished capacity to criticize our government

@DrJillStein

Why didn't Biden do any of this when he had a trifecta? Democrats always promise you progressive reforms to get your vote, then govern for the Wall Street bankers and war profiteers who fund them. It's an abusive relationship. Don't let them lie to you again.

@errinhaines

NEWS: In Detroit, Biden announces his plans for first 100 days:

  • Sign John Lewis Voting Rights Act
  • Expand Social Security and Medicare

Your political party affiliation is the party that you choose to associate with. Depending on your state, you may be asked your party affiliation when you register to vote. You can change your registration through your state election office. Before you do, know:

  • You do not have to join a political party or reveal your party preference when you register to vote.
  • Not every state accepts or lists a party affiliation on a voter registration card.
  • The party affiliation on your voter registration does not limit you to voting for just that party. You can always choose to vote for a candidate from any party in a general election, like a presidential, congressional, or mayoral election.
  • Your party affiliation is usually only important in primary elections. Many states have "closed" primaries. This means that you can only vote for your party’s candidates in its primary election. Learn about the different types of primary elections.

@KeyDecision1

Did you know that if the Green Party could get 5% of the popular vote that we could have THREE parties from then on?

That's why we keep voting Green in hopes of breaking the duopoly

"Third parties can't win!"

Winning isn't the point right now, we're just trying to get access

Eponymous host of the Kim Iverson Show joins Briahna Joy Gray to break down Thursday's disastrous-for-Democrats debate, RFK Jr.'s response, and what third party opportunities this unique political moment presents for the left. Is this a moment to commit to the Green Party? Or is the only "green" up for debate Biden's golf handicap, or whether Trump is sub "par". Is it worth it to vote for RFK Jr. to break up the duopoly? Or are his views on Gaza too insidious to consider any other upsides? You wont want to miss this spirited debate.

@CallForCongress

We got notification a few days ago that we qualified for matching funds

That message was immediately followed by another saying “but we’re not giving them to you”

It is unprecedented and unconscionable. We have been counting on this funding - $270,000, rightfully earned and now

@DrJillStein

The empire is pulling out all the stops, with their army of lawyers, infiltrators - and now delaying our @FEC matching funds!

The Dems are quaking in their boots because we are rising up. They think they can stop us, but they ain't seen nothing yet…

@DrJillStein

Every four years, we're regularly told we have to "vote blue no matter who" because of the Supreme Court. But voting for Democrats to fix the Supreme Court is betting on a sure loser. It's not happening. Democrats aren't saving SCOTUS - and they're not saving us from SCOTUS either.

While Republicans have been carefully strategizing a judicial takeover for decades, Democrats have been fumbling away SCOTUS seats and fast-tracking GOP judicial appointees. When it leaked that SCOTUS was planning to overturn Roe, the Democrats did nothing to codify this critical protection for women, just like they'd done nothing for the past 50 years in spite of their repeated promises. All they did was fundraise and tell people to vote blue harder.

When SCOTUS gutted the Voting Rights Act, the Democrats did nothing but fundraise and tell people to vote harder. Now that SCOTUS has gone full mask-off in support of tyranny, what are Biden and the Democrats doing about it? Fundraising and telling people to vote harder.

The Democrats have not only been useless while SCOTUS takes a sledgehammer to our democracy. They have been worse than useless, because they turn every terrible decision into a convenient excuse for not even trying to do the things they promised their voters.

Enough is enough. We're done playing along with this farce.

Voting for Biden to deal with this illegitimate, corrupt, rogue court is like calling Mr. Magoo to stop a fascist coup. We need to call it like it is: this court has sided with tyranny over democracy, and just like King George III in 1776, it's got to go.

But we won't win this fight by voting for the do-nothing Dems. We will win this fight by voting for a president who will lead the charge to impeach, replace, and expand this illegitimate, corrupt court - and create a court that serves the American people, not the billionaire donors that have manipulated the process to produce an extremist court now tearing down what remains of our democratic institutions.

About On Strike!:

News & analysis to beat the bosses. On Strike is the video broadcast of Workers Strike Back, hosted by Kshama Sawant and Bia Lacombe. We cover issues from the perspective of workers’ needs, not billionaire greed. We provide socialist analysis and strategy to build working-class movements, fight against oppression, and for a new mass party for workers and young people. These same ideas have been used by Kshama in her decade as the only socialist on the Seattle City Council, overcoming big business and Democratic Party opposition to win four elections and victories such as the $15/hour minimum wage and the Amazon Tax. Workers Strike Back is an independent, rank-and-file campaign organizing in our workplaces and on the streets against the bosses and their political servants.

“We have a problem,” they are saying.

Corporate media just lies and lies and lies…

@DrJillStein currently is on enough ballots to potentially win 279 electoral college votes

Yet Salon says neither she nor Kennedy have a pathway to 270
