PSA: All deer are not deer.

I mean seriously just look at them. They're all weird and creepy and something is always at least little bit off from what you would expect a deer to look like. Don't let your guard down around the seemingly innocuous deer you've gotten used to in your back yard.

So back on Wednesday night, I was at my first monthly party. My husband (Sal) began seeing a huge creature called a Chimera. I don’t believe it would be the same type from Greek mythology as it looked more like a hollow but walked on all four and is a blind sound hunter.

So the issue was we had to scream to everyone to shut up. Though when walking backwards from where the scream happened. He knocked over a cup and the chimera ended getting face to face with him. Then tore his leg from the back of the knee to the ass. The Chimera ended up hearing something and leaving but came back. So then since my sister realized what it was and how to tame it. We tamed it. So by any unlucky chance you come across this. So it uses a somewhat echolocation thing to move and sound angers and triggers it. So it makes a clicking noise and that’s how you know it’s around. So be completely silent and hold your hand out and hold it still. Then let it smell you and trust you and if it makes the clicking sound make it back.

This creature is similar to the spirit guardians in Avatar. When aggressive and hunting its huge and like 12ft tall. Though when safe and happy. It’s like 2-3 ft.

Hello! Thought I'd share a couple of interesting Cryptids from my native state of Wisconsin! Cryptid lore is super fascinating to me, and I love hearing about local legends and seeing them referenced in popular media.

Call it a cryptid claim to fame.

The riverside community of Columbia, Lancaster County, has latched onto the long-held lore of the Albatwitch, a small, fury creature that dates to Native American times here, and elevated it to legendary status.

The Albatwitch is now driving what creature hunter David Spinks calls “para-tourism” as thousands flock to the mountainous woods surrounding Columbia in search of the red-eyed, apple-stealing abnormality.

Sixty-seven years ago, an eighteen-year-old Mennonite farm boy from a tiny Kansas town had a lake monster in his sights. Albert “Bert” Neufeld fired two shots from his hunting rifle in a vain attempt to bag Sinkhole Sam, the greatest monster legend Kansas has ever known.

There are multiple reports of a massive, snakelike creature swimming in the Big Sinkhole—that’s the official name according to the Kansas State Department of Transportation—a few miles outside of Inman, a tiny town northwest of Wichita. The legend began surfacing in the summer of 1952, the year before Neufeld took his shot. The creature was described as being between fifteen and thirty feet long, a wormy beast as big around as the tire from a 1951 REO Speedwagon.
