Hello Everyone,

It's been a fun few months.

Lemmy is fascinating beta software, and I believe the future of the web forum. I also, unfortunately, believe that Rabbitea.rs may no longer be running Lemmy in the near future.

The reality is that Lemmy is very unstable to run, resource heavy, and difficult to affordably scale. These problems are solved as fediverse projects mature. Rabbitea.rs cannot afford to wait for that.

I know there are a small number of you who use this service very regularly - it is in your interest to create a lemmy account elsewhere and migrate your subscriptions.

Rabbitea.rs will return to the Fediverse! It won't be Lemmy.

Looks like feddit.de are defederated from us - which might explain why I can't subscribe to any feddit.de communities and the posts come through sporadically (usually after searching again). Can you reach out to them and find out why? If the problem has been resolved hopefully they'll remove the block. (the linked post is about lemmy.world but mentions us further down) @hop@rabbitea.rs

Suggest you block szmer.info - seems to just be a spam instance.

Are there plans to update to v0.18? I've been told the old version might be causing some issues I'm seeing with federation. I think I've proved that isn't the cause, but it should probably be updated anyway.
