While I want to support decentralized approach, tbh at this point anything with correct moderation can be better than Twitter lol
What is really terrible is that, Twitter is considered mainstream social media alongside Instagram here in Japan. So even the normies ends up stepping into that right wing cesspool. I was really shocked to see my normie ex friend retweeting transphobic shit😿😿
While I really really hate Twitter, and tend to be more on Instagram, Losing Twitter means losing the single biggest information source for the majority that can’t read English. Even I sometimes have to open Twitter to see wtf is going on in the society (also it’s useful to get the most up to date information during emergency situations, like earthquake)
So apparently spez isn't satisfied just fucking up Reddit, and now he is trying to fuck up lemmy, LMAO
Funny to see how they started taking these decisions right now, that most contents are most likely already scrapped anyways lol Only thing I’m worried about is that Twitter is the biggest information source here in Japan, and people tend to be more conservative so very likely the majority won’t even consider protest.

Just use NixOS. Not minimalist but very organized and feels comfortable
