Teams does actually have a sound cue when people join calls: high-pitched repeated beeps that most people can't hear due to presbycusis, and the few who do hear it think they're going crazy.

I love the idea of the ding, but I hate the idea of being in a meeting sharing my screen when I'm working in something. It would be like having someone looking over your shoulder at your screen constantly
