Okay I said I didn't need any more services but I'm cloning this now

Pretty much what I said to myself. Lol

Would you say that you're... proplifting it

While this looks appealing, there is no docker support. So I prefer Plant-it

I don't see what's keeping someone from creating a dockerfile and containerizating it. Maybe I'll fiddle with that today.

"Docker support" do you mean nobody has taken the steps to create a plug and play solution for you or do you mean that it physically cannot run on a container?

System requirements

PHP ^8.2
MySQL (10.4.27-MariaDB or similar)
SMTP server for e-mailing

Docker is easy and I've been meaning to add to my commits. I'll report back!

You guess right. I am no genius when it comes to computers, and I'm already amazed I managed to at least learn how to selfhost with docker. But every time I put my nose in dockerfile results in a failure 😅

I'll be following your progress on this with great interest :)

If you can push a dockerfile to that repo that groups these containers for us that bumble through these sorts of things, it would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't get to it yesterday, but i plan to look into it today, or this week. I've been simultaneously applying to jobs.

Can anyone give a few more details as to this programs function? "Plant Management System" is pretty vague. Is this like a reminder app to water your house plants, or an Integrated Pest Management program for agricultural crops? How is it collaborative?

I haven't looked into it enough, but it is for houseplants and personal collections. See: https://www.hortusfox.com/screenshots

This is common with self-hosted apps- basically, all that it means is that you can configure multiple user accounts that can talk to each other.
