I definitely respect EUs pro-consumer efforts in this arena but I always feel like they are nearing a point where distributors just say "ok, no more Europe". Or maliciously comply with a service that punishes consumers in a multitude of legal ways.
Of course that would be bad for business. Of course that would cost them millions of dollars. Of course the overinflated Muskian egos in charge of the tech industry would do it anyway.
If anything music services would be the first since they are the most hyper-sensitive.
