7d2d, maybe I'll finally complete my goal of fixing up the whole world. Getting rid of all the destruction in an apocalypse game sounds enjoyable.
Gaming

Roblox so many games and also chat options
Sonic adventure. I think I can beat the game in about 3 hours so I would have enough time to play it lots of times. If I ever got bored I would play chao garden
Baldurs Gate 3 of course
Modded minecraft,ALL THE MODS,literally
Ark survival or Skyrim with a ton of mods.
Doesn't say I can't do other things with the PC so I would spend the year developing my own game and that would be the game I play because obviously I need to test it.
Ark
Civilization
Gta online This would need to be after gta 6 release tho. We know they create their games to last 10-20 years at a time now
Rocket league
Heats of iron 4. I'd finally do a Philippines run where i conquer Spain
WoW
Valheim (Modded) and it’s not even close.
You are locked in a room with Reddit. Which question do you keep seeing for a year?
Welcome to my dark room locked ultimate ironman!
connected to the internet? easily roblox, ill tell u y
every genre imaginable is there, voice chat (while hard to get to) is there
If the gaming pc included vr gear, then vrchat would be my choice
SIMS 3!!!
Skyrim.
For 2 years, I only had Skyrim and I fully enjoyed the experience (and it was the base game, no DLC nor mods)
Thank fuck I can finally do my 100% no fast travel playthrough of Oblivion, been after that one since it was almost new
Civ 5 Vox Populi
either gonna be WoW or Final Fantasy 14, there's enough to keep me busy for a long time.
Skyrim with mods.
TF2. I can finally get good.
if it's only 1 game: UT 2k4
If you mean without net which would make more sense: I have 5.7 TB of GOG backups...
Demon souls or bloodborne.
Diablo 2 for sure! Maybe I could finally finish my holy grail….three more items!
You'd want a game with a huge amount of content, social interaction with players (you guys are going to kill yourselves of loneliness playing a solo game for a year) and regular updates or modding support.
WoW or Minecraft :) but any other large MMO would also do the trick. Guild Wars 2 for ex.
EVE Online.
Or as I would call it:
EVE Online: I love spider tanking
Heroes of Might and Magic III
Looks like I'm finally going to have time to learn dwarf fortress all the way through!
Warframe
Rollercoaster Tycoon and give me two years bc that game’s a banger
Star Citizen. Been playing since it wad just a hangar amd they are ramping up content now that SQ42 is in polish.
Heck I could just go camping on microTech for a bit.
Age of Empires 2. Going on 25 years and still just as fun as when it came out.
Battletech with the Roguetech mod. I'm going to finally commit to that superheavy lance.
Genshin impact,
Why?
There will always be new content added.
Skyrim.
FF14, Terraria or MHW
Kenshi. You can already make crazy campaigns with a fraction of that time, I want to see how far I could take a world with one whole year. I would probably keep faction leaders on a display and build a faction chain across the entire world, have it all automated until I have a squad that can storm a faction HQ and I don't have to do anything except command them to take the leader.
Any of these:
- League of Legends
- Guild Wars 2
- World of Warcraft
- Albion Online
- EVE Online
- Entropia Universe (but that requires at least 10k usd deposit to comfortably enjoy it).
- Elder Scrolls Online
- Stellaris
- Civilization 6
Basically LoL or MMO or 4X Strategy
Star Wars Galaxies.
