I’m on vacation and trying to find ways to turn the courtesy PC in the lobby into a gaming pc.

With internet? ESO. No internet, Civ6
WoW or Dwarf Fortress
RDR2
Risk of rain 2
Path of exile
The lack of Roller Coaster Tycoon in this thread is disturbing.
I mean that's a lot of assumptions. But probably a heavily modded vr Skyrim or path of exile.
I'm assuming I get infinite food/drink/bathroom/shower/Internet and all my cleaning is taken care of.
Crusader Kings 3. I'd play for an hour, 8 hours later, huh. Still playing, well alright I better ACTUALLY come of now me, hungry, why is this hunger geting worse? ANOTHER 4 HOURS HAVE PASSED HOW?! ok now I really need to come off it, phone rings, Boss: Why are you late for work?!, late for work it's Saturday right? Boss: IT'S MONDAY YOU IDIOT. Ohh shit well better get to work. Wait where is the building I work in? Demolition guy: The place was abandoned for 3 years it got knocked down. THREE YEARS? How old do I look? Demolition guy: erm like maybe 53. WHAT NO I'M 27 I SWEAR, looks in mirror, ohh my...
Sorry not sorry.
If I have internet then Skyrim. Finally time to figure out a proper mod setup and catch up on all the crazy DLC-sized mods.
World of Warcraft
Kenshi
Civ 5 Vox Populi
Simcity 2000. No cheat codes.
Csgo
L4D2
garry’s mod
Rust. By the time it was over I wouldn’t even want to see another person
Hitman 3 the all three games in one thing
The finals
Gonna be Baldur's Gate III. "But Meso Jeckyl, you say you not like this game!" True. However, having not really given it a proper go yet... and that it's D&D... with a stack of classes and races and combinations of the two, I figure I'd get my $89 worth and easily cover your challenge :)
Master of magic got me through a year of no internet in Japan as an exchange student
If you have internet... honestly probably WOW. I haven't played it in years, but if I have to lose a year of my life in a dark room its going to be WoW.
Why? Because I know its possible. For me...it's happened before and I wasn't even trapped.
Skyrim. Ive been playing for a thousand hours and could easily do more. Bonus points if it can be modded.
Factorio. And after the year I'd probably just shoo away anyone attempting to remove me from the room
Runescape
Genshin Impact. Although I already do that lol
Any of the flagship bethesda games in the last 20 years
Morrowind with Tamriel rebuilt
Fallout 4
If theres internet connection, Skyrim and believe me or not, Genshin. Skyrim because mod and Genshin because the dev been constantly update the content every month.
Dwarf Fortress
1 year might be enough for me to learn the basics
Bold of you to assume this is hypothetical, this is my life.
Stellaris with all dlc.
Satisfactory
Stellaris, see what year I can get to before the PC becomes a small red super giant
Stellaris. And I’f probably forget to sleep and eat the entire year.
Old School RuneScape. Easily.
Sims 4, modded
Borderlands 1 dlc : the zombie island of dr Ned
If I have internet, it’d be WoW for me, if not then Sims 3 (I prefer it over 4)
Modded Sudoku.
Fallout 4 or 76
FFXIV
I would have put DayZ... but my choice allows for more possible interactions with players.
I played FFXI for a long time.
I could do XVI for a year... easy.
(I'm assuming food and care is covered.)
Rimworld without a doubt (especially if mods are authorized)
Cities skylines
DCS.
