Universal left/right stick sensitivity settings
Every game using the same scale so its easier to jump between games without you messing with the camera/aim settings.
Extensive accessibility options that don't affect achievements or reduce the game.
Control had tons of options that enabled someone like me that really struggles with hand dexterity to still fully explore and invest in the game.
Cross platform for multiplayer games. I feel developers should be prioritising it more then they do at the moment
Enough with high amounts of bloom, over the top motion blur and lens flares
Quit to desktop. I don't want to have to click 'quit to menu', watch a loading screen, then watch a menu launch animation, then click 'quit to desktop', then click yes I'm sure, then watch a game quit animation just to get back to Windows.
Any and all disability enhancements. The stuff naughty dog put in TLOU for example need to be replicated in to every game. Allow as many people as possible to play.
Official mod support.
A decent in-game photo mode. I'll credit Ubisoft for having really good photo tools in their recent AC games, for example.
The ability to add my own music to any in game music playlist/radio station
If there is a battle pass, any items that weren’t earned during the season get added to the normal loot tables. See Deep Rock Galactic as an example. It completely negates any FOMO the player might have.
Preordering an awesome looking game, only to have it be incomplete and requires multiple additional purchases to get all of the presently completed content
BRING BACK FUNNY CHEATS. Big head mode needs to make a comeback ASAP.
Accessibility features at launch.
Games should be playable by as many people as possible.
dlc that doesn't break the game at launch
Fully optional HUD, breadcrumbs, quest markers, etc.
For me? No cut scenes, everything should play in game and I should be able to choose to watch or not.
I should be able to pause my singleplayer game when I want to. Not all games do this but there has been some that you can't and it's very annoying. I also shouldn't be forced to have an internet connection to play a singleplayer game.
finish the game then release it
More offline single player games.
Having players pay to be allowed to do QC for the company.
NPC's running/walking at the same speed as player character.
ATL. Active Time Lore
Say what you want about FFXVI and it's flaws. The ATL was awesome, and every story game should have it.
Releasing a finished product when it’s ready, as opposed to charging full price for consumers to live beta test features.

ADULT SERVERS!
abusive toxic language in modern warfare, call of duty and other FPS!
Then players will just get creative and shout
"Fork You, I hope you eat shirt and you enjoy that teabag!"
then it just gets weird i dunno if i should be offended i got called confectionary so...i dunno. some adults don't mind playing through the cussing its ok, its part of the experience. that why i think there should be adult servers that allow for that, heck charge EXTRA for it like an private cuss room! just for adults to cuss and play.
right click exit.
Resizable huds
Customizable controls.
I've played several PC games where the keyboard & mouse controls could be customized but gamepad controls couldn't. Why one but not the other?
Release full completed games. None of this "massive day one patch" or "just wait for the patch" moments just after release. If you can't walk into a store and buy a physical copy and pop it into your console/pc and play without internet (if you're game isn't playable out of box), then you're doing it wrong.
Save and quit in the middle of a dialogue tree.
Disable quicktime buttons (I just want to watch the cool cutscene)
Disable mash-to-open stuff.
Reassign the buttons.
The ability to change my loadout during the loading screen of Destiny is amazing. More games should have that
Language-based matching. It’s probably not a big issue in the US but in East Asia you never know whether or not you can communicate with your randos…
Coop games where both players advance their campaign progress.
Baldur's Gate 3
Games where it's $60 for a complete experience out of the box, with extremely high replayability, lovable characters, a good story, well crafted game world (none of that procedural or giant open empty nothing of "this game is so big"), no microtransactions or day 1 dlc, devs that care and are highly communicative and transparent, game events that are "controversial" >! (bear sex scene, becoming a mind flayer, genociding the tieflings, etc) !<
The system in Pillars of Eternity 2 and Tyranny where you could mouse over important plot words and character names in dialogues and get a short description or lore related info on them.
