Been using iPhone for over a decade now. I'm used to iOS and I like making things easier for me. Never was a fan of customisation. I just want a phone that's simple and that just works.

Because i need an iphone to teat apps in IOS…

At the time I got it, only the iPhone was able to Bluetooth sync with my brand of hearing aids. I believe there’s generally support on Android now, but in 2019 I had to switch to iPhone if I wanted Bluetooth streaming.

I came from Android phones and windows machine because in my 20s i like to customize everything and game a lot on PC.

Im 35 now, i have wife and kids. i have a career to progress. I have no time and desire to do any of the above-mentioned in the first paragraph . I just need something that just works. iPhone, iPad and macbook just work….. majority of the times.

When something glitches out, give it a reboot and 99% of the time it fixes it self. Gone are days troubleshooting just to install something and ending up breaking some other things which leads to reformatting.

The optimization in iPhone and mac is just another level. Even on my old iPhone SE 2nd gen, majority of the apps are still buttery smooth and rarely crash.

And the way all apple devices integrate with each others are almost magic and works 99% of the time. But then you will be locked in the ecosystem and will be the slave of Apple for the rest of your pathetic life.

Using iPhone 13 mini. Couldn't find any other compact flagship. It's one of best things I bought.

So the software is built for iPhone so it fit perfectly to iPhone devices

Also for some reason I feel using this iPhone is so smooth, faster, and simpler than other devices

The processor is great

Finally, in my country Google Pay system isn’t working but ApplePay is working that what i assume it as benefit

Also i used Android devices its so cool especially Samsung phones all of them are great i using them also

I got into a car accident and needed a new car and bought a Toyota. At the time, I also needed a new phone and the Toyota only had Apple’s Car Play feature instead of both that and Android Auto like other cars. So I got an iPhone in order to take advantage of the new car feature.

I’m not an iPhone die hard. I was an android user (Google Pixel was my last phone before iPhone and before that I had Samsung) and wouldn’t mind going back to a Samsung/Google Pixel. As long as the camera is great (I love taking pictures of everything and everyone around me) and I can message people, it’s all good.

Because my work makes me.

I used to work in telecoms and was selling the first iPhone on day 1. Had always been an Apple fan but I held off until the 3GS as I found it insane it launched (especially in the UK) without 3G.

The return rate with Android devices compared to iPhone was immense. I’ve spent plenty of time using all sorts of other devices but the iPhone always came out on top - camera, integration (iTunes through to handover), performance, security.

Admittedly I’m bored of how iOS looks and feels, and wouldn’t mind trying an Android again but I find it hard to believe it would be as good or better for the money, especially now that the top Android devices are in the same spectrum as the latest iPhone. I’m also heavily invested in the ecosystem (Mac, iPad, watch, pods).

Apple is invested in keeping this platform updated.

I started using Android phones back in 2011. I had multiple devices that became simply irrelevant due to no meaningful system updates. Back in the day, almost every app that you cared about using required consistent updates to stay usable. At that time, I thought it was ludicrous that anyone would pay $200+ for a phone. I waded through the swamp of cheap Android phones for several years and finally got the Nexus 4 (secondhand; well after the Nexus 5 was already out). I loved it for about 6 months, until it didn’t get the latest Android update.

I jumped on the Nexus 6P at launch and used it for almost two full years. It met the same demise in terms of eventually stopping updates. This was Google’s flagship device. That soured me entirely on the Android platform at that point.

My next purchase was the iPhone 8. I never looked back. I will never purchase another Android in a market where the iPhone exists.

Apple eco system

I bought iphone 13 after 6 months of launch, i bought it because of its video quality, because i create content with it, so basically its an asset for me instead of mehenge phone waali baat chit

I have a mac and enjoy the apple eco system. I have no problems with android. I like the google pixel too

Because if I drop my phone and my battery pops out I ln front of my peers. I may be on suiscan watch then

Nothing beats the UI and the simplicity of iPhone. I have Z flip as well and I really really hate it. Even the font is wrong.

I used to love android back in the day (HTC days).

For video and subscriptions (cause my bf got it for me and hes using apple too). I like going to concerts and vid quality of apple is good but now im thinking of getting the other one for zooming quality for vid 😂

GarageBand. I love being able to mess around with music and making instrumentals at any time. Also it makes it easier in group chats because all my friends have iPhone. My favorite OS/phone was the OnePlus though.

It just works.

The reason I initially switched was because I got a remote job and needed group chat features. But honestly I should've made the switch a long time ago. I didn't realize you could get the Google keyboard on iphones now lol completely changed how I feel about my phone

Because it’s the best for me.

-Wanted to try iOS after years of android.

-my parent both had iPhones and don’t use any message app other than imessage, so the ecosystem helped.

-ecosystem: we already had an iPad, a Mac and an iMac

-great cameras on budget phone

-budget iPhone intrigued me (still using my 2020 SE)

-many popular friends had iPhones

-felt premium

-HUGE performance (what made me even consider iPhones in the first place)

-HUGE software support (2nd biggest reason) meant I would comfortably keep my phone for 5+ years

-smoothness: always heard that iPhones are just smooth interested me

-app availability: most apps come before on iOS and are better optimized

-chip efficiency meant I didn’t even look at the battery size

These are just some things I considered when choosing between android and iOS. The android decide at the time had a higher refresh rate, OLED screen, huge battery and 3 cameras but yet I choose the iPhone.

To this day I’m still thinking about the android experience but seeing Samsung’s phones lately, I’m pretty sure I made the right decision.

Integration. Reliability. Security. Quality and Haptic. I know some brands check at least some of those. But I’ve used Sony, Samsung and briefly a Nokia Windows Phone until I got stuck with an iPhone and over the years the integration with macOS and iPads has become so strong that I wouldn’t want to use any other system without that. I mean I‘d probably prefer an Android when I would be using Windows. But when I see what colleagues with Windows and Android struggle with I wouldn’t want to exchange.

Curiosity + smaller size + smartwatch replacement. Came from a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, with its 6.9” screen and square edges.

Also got the Watch S9 to replace my obsolete Galaxy Watch 3, which is what really pushed me into trying iOS.

Resale value really. Apple watch helps too. Had the 11 pro max and would have gone back to the pixel series if not for the watch and then the resale.

It is simple and does the job.

Because my last phone broke so I'm using my old one until I get a replacement

I started originally because of Wi-Fi calling on the 6s. Ran it for a year and went back to android because I just missed the OS. I didn’t find anything special about iOS at the time. What turned me back was when the watch got ECG. I was really big into health tech at the time and realized that Apple leaned into the fitness aspect with the watch. Bought a XS, Series 3 I think, and AirPods. What keeps me now is the ecosystem. It runs so much better than android ecosystem does.

Because I’ve always had iPhone since my very first phone which was the iPhone 4 and before that I even had the iPod touch. I don’t know anything else and I figure if it ain’t broke don’t fix it

Buy once, forget it.

I was a huge HUAWEI Fan. Till…well ya know how the story goes. So I was looking for smth new. And I got really tired of the huge android jungle, finding some new brand fitting for me in good price range that surely will last longer then 2 years. I’m not a huge Samsung fan, no real reason it just isn’t for me, tried it multiple times, isn’t my brand. Everything a little cheaper I had hope in didn’t last long, got buggy real quick… My father always had an iPhone - wasn’t a huge fan but also didn’t really give it a chance. My bf also was using HUAWEI before and did change to an iPhone (he just wanted to try it, no more real reason) and now that he had his one over a year and I got to know it better, I also started to lay an Eye to the system. I wasn’t completely new to apple since in my job we learned on Macs and I recently purchased an IPad (but never really used it at that point) So I wanted to give the iPhone a try too. The point that got me is that soft and Hardware are from the same company, and they know what their devices can and can’t do, different to the android jungle that needs to serve so much different hardware, they for sure got some good phones, just not for me. And now half a year later I’m not disappointed at all and hope that I can use this phone longer then 2 years and still feeling good about it.
