Apple support, video recording and something about the lock screen that I like. I don't choose it over my Galaxy S23 ultra or Flip 5 but it's up there. My iPhone 13 mini just hits the size sweet spot too. If there was a mini with the pro max camera system that would make it perfect.

OS and Ecosystem, most of all.
Not necessarily ‘like’ but blue bubble supremacy is real in the US. You just met a cute girl and she wants to facetime? Try explaining why you can’t and why she needs to download whatsapp. Ultimately a phone is for communication and iPhones are just easier because its what most people use
Carplay offers this feature called "now playing", where if any app doesn't have a native Carplay app but plays audio, it can be controlled through Now Playing. It is great.
Android does not offer this, and Google even attacks developers who try to make mods that perform that function. For someone who has a long drive to work, Google is really irritating. Apple may be greedy and restrictive, but at least they have their head in the game.
UX consistency across apps is important. It removes one more layer of pointless abstraction. Almost everything behaves the same.
Third party support. Apps and games are generally prioritised for iPhones. Physical accessories are very easy to find, often remarkably cheap, and offer a lot of variety in functionality. This market just doesn’t exist for Androids.
MagSafe. It’s boring, invisible, and so seamless. Probably my favourite iPhone feature. I think I’ve plugged this current phone in twice since I’ve owned it.
The social clout people don’t like to talk about. iPhones are absolutely a status symbol in the same way cars are.
Stickers in iOS17. I love making stickers from all my pet photos, or pasting photos of my friends into scenes from movies or historical settings.
I also love how iPhones almost look like jewellery today. They are sickeningly pretty objects.
Customer service is just good. AppleCare+ should just be the default option when buying a new phone.
I switched from s23 ultra to the 14pm and now 15PM, I'm never going back to android, iphones just work, no random BS, no tinkering, no unexpected crashes, no malware filled apps in the appstore front page, camera is always amazing, sound is also always amazing, the products are just so good I made the entire switch to apple devices. I'm just so sick of being a perpetual beta tester for MS and Google
Good, ready to use features for every day tasks. Video / social media content generation is unmatched.
The interface is just so easy to use. Example, when I switched to the 11 from my 8+ I thought I would hate not having a home button and fingerprint scanning.
Now I can't imagine life with one and without Face ID.
Great speakers, looks nice, always works. That being said ive never tried android in my life, i might get a android as a secondary trial device soon because ive been itching to try it
I went through a lot of “smartphones” before Apple reinvented the industry. I remember watching Steve Jobs unveil the first iPhone and knew in that moment it was going to change everything. I wasn’t wrong.
I’m still in the ecosystem for ease of use, reliability, security, and support. Apple goes above and beyond in making the different layers of their phones seem like they are the highest priority. If you like ease of use, it feels like that was their highest priority and they nailed it. If you want reliability, the only time my phone reboots is during a firmware update. If you want support, I’ve seen Android phones lose support after a year while Apple carries their phones much longer. Is security your cup of tea? Apple has you covered with industry leading privacy. It really is an ecosystem that has something for everyone.
Most specifically, the entire ecosystem. I’m still on my first iPhone, an 11 I picked up cheap. It is just so smooth to switch between Apple devices, like I can be walking up the stairs with something on my phone and sit down at my desk and can just switch to my iMac. I can grab my iPad and go sit outside and keep going.
I only switched to iPhone because I got an Apple Watch. The alerts flitting between the two really got me hooked fast. It absolutely streamlined things for me. The speakers on the 11 aren’t great for music but that’s what AirPods are for , which btw also transfer with me from iPhone to other devices on the fly. I think when I upgrade at 16 or even 17 I’ll feel like I traveled to the future by a hundred years lol. Almost got the 15 but there’s just no need yet as the 11 is just so good still.
For me it’s the constant performance I have had so many phones over the past five years and android always falls behind. I have a pixel 8 pro and a iPhone 15 plus and my iPhone 15 plus just feels so good to use
The iPhone 14 plus pairs perfectly to my Bluetooth hearing aids. With the app Jango Radio, I can enjoy hours of free music when at events I am not interested in watch but must attend as a good grandpa.
I like using a dac for the Apple Music lossless audio 👌 sound great on my speakers at home and even Apple CarPlay!
simplicity. I tried a google pixel and it’s just too complicated for me, maybe i’m just not advanced enough 😭
Mine just works. All the time. No force closing apps, or constantly having to restart my phone like when I had a Samsung. Also, the vast majority of apps are updated for iOS first, and I also don't have to wait months for iOS updates like I did with Android.
The password manager, iCloud, AirPlay, airdrop, basically everything that involves the cooperation of different devices. Plus, when they release a new feature, i can mostly just go ahead and use it as I can trust them that
- it’s gonna work
- it’s gonna have a legit purpose
- the setup won’t be a hassle
- they will support the feature for years on end
iOS
i message, airdrop, ease of use with apple wallet. and just the fact that most apps come the iphone first, and the seamless integration with other apple products.
Apple ecosystem.
I love the display and ease of use
The ecosystem, OS and performance.
How super easy it is and stable it is with other apps
I work in fintech. The last thing I want to do in my life is debug shit. Yeah - I have a linux laptop but my macbook is my main laptop. I just want this stuff to work. Never had any issues with iPhone and I've had them since the first one came out.
Consistency.
It just works. I have used Android for a long time but then I got angry because every time I had to solve some issue. Since I switched to iPhone everything works seamlessly
Low audio latency
Loving Shortcuts, and loving USB C
They’re very dependable and reliable for me. I like how they’re so useful in a working Apple ecosystem, like how I’m able to use my Apple TV using my iPhone as a remote or how I’m able to screenshare my screen to my S/O over FaceTime and FaceTime audio calls seem to be much more superior to other solutions like Discord calling or Instagram calls.
OS.It just works
Private relay
Lockdown mode
Just privacy shit in general
i like the look of them and to some degree the layout, everything else is shit but im too invested already to change to a different brand
They hold their resell value quite well compared to android phones
Apple will support the device for 6+ years.

Camera Quality
They are small. Have an iPhone 12, and sad that hey stopped making the mini.
Love the size.
The fact that it barely ever lags (even when your storage is full). I’ve owned an android previously, and for some reason everything just slowed down over the years, the apps started lagging and it was sheer nuisance.
Another thing that I really like about iphones is that somehow it’s more immune to all the virus as compared to the android phones which are more susceptible to it. Maybe it’s the software, idk much about it but it works.
Stinky!
95% of the time they always work yes it has its moments it might glitch but I know my iPhones in and outs and I know if my life depended on it I can trust it.
Ummmm this “ Apple is responsible for creating and supporting 2.4 million US jobs across all 50 states”
Sturdy! I dropped my phones sooo many times. Never had the monitor cracked or phone become funny.
I just realized Apple Music sounds waaayy better than Spotify. I'm now with 13pm and have been using iPhone since 4s. I used Spotify for some time then started to notice difference in sound quality with Apple Music.
One other thing for the new OS is voice isolation when taking calls using headphones. Life saver when you are working outside and have to join a meeting.
