A place for enthusiasts of sticks of all shapes and sizes. We all love a good stick! Is it a walking stick? Light Saber? Gun? Looks brown and sticky? You decide!

Feel free to post sticks to rate, sticks that look like things, memes about sticks, long winded rants about the superiority of birch sticks over oak, anything stick related! Natural sticks are preferred, but modification and ornamentation is also fine.

Shillelagh explained: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shillelagh - Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa) taproot.

Is a shillelagh so precisely defined? I thought any good thwomping stick could be a shillelagh in the hands of a stout Irishman.

I had thought it was a briar tap root, but realize as I write this, that the briar tap root is used for making pipes. Being quite clearly a fan, but no authority, I hit up wikipedia, like ya do.
