Cool. What do you want us to do with that information??
Apple
A place for Apple news, rumors, and discussions.
I went with the 15 pro and I’ve dropped it three times since I got it and virtually no damage but I did put a case on it after I dropped it three times.
Add me to list of people who don’t understand not having a case. For me it’s not about the cost of repair, as much as it is the increased usability (grip and slip protection) and not having to worry about having a broken phone (especially when traveling).
The case covering up the iPhone? Yeah, hey… look at me… I have something that literally a billion other people have!
Sign up for AC+ on your phone under Settings and then make a claim. The end.
Congrats
But ya you're going to have to pay $300-$400 to get the back glass repaired. Best thing to do is to slap a case on it to cover it up, pretend like it never happened, get a screen protector, and learn from your mistakes. You could also maybe sell it for $400 on marketplace and get a 14 for that price, if you're insecure about it.
Lol it sounds heartbreaking 😂

Don’t go case-less!!!
- iPhones cost too much money.
- If you want to see the back glass, get a clear case.
- If Apple’s cases are too much, get one through Amazon.
Make sure to get a screen protector too! It helps drastically!
Accidental damage is covered for 60 days But im wondering above that ot says limited warranty until nov 5 2024
there are two ways to go with iphone
- case
- apple care
It kills me to see people going caseless with devices that costs €1000 or more, destroying them in less than a week time only to come here asking: “What now?”
Get it repaired and then start using a f*cking case! 😂
My device. I can use it how I want. Plus, without a case I’m more careful with it. I also don’t put a case on my car.
Never use case. Just pay 500 dollars and get repaired whenever you want. That’s the official way to do it. It doesn’t mess up the feel and touch, the official feel of glass and metal. Thats the only official and intended way of going about it. The officers at Apple can confirm that’s how the phone was designed.
Does Apple care covers it?
Normal
Pay for apple care + then go to apple store and ask to change the back of it.
Has everyone forgotten that it’s way cheaper to fix back glass, regular iPhone 15 only $169 now
If you have Apple Care it will cover the repair for $29.
If it’s still under the complimentary AppleCare period, get it fixed under your AppleCare, if not, well, get it fixed or don’t. Depends on how much it bothers you
Why did you do that
Dumbass that's what a good case like otterbox is for.
Very nice.
Otterbox defender has never let me down since iPhone 5
Fix it or live with it
$169.00 without Apple Care: https://www.theverge.com/2023/9/18/23878447/iphone-15-back-glass-repair-price-apple
I bought a $20 hard case from Amazon with integrated screen and lens protector for my 15 Pro Max when I got it. Accidentally dropped it on to a wooden floor and thankfully no damage whatsoever to the phone. So I’d recommend getting a case.
Its sad
Worst feeling in the world :(
I doubt they can detect a cracked back remotely, so I say get applecare+ (with online diagnosis) while you still can, then wait a couple days and have it repaired. it's technically fraud but fuck it
Sir it appears that you are financially comfortable, if you had it with no protective case . If so take it to Apple Store , trade it in and buy a new one.
I’d get the back fixed and get a clear case. I’ve had my 15 pro max for 2 weeks and if I’m going out I use the case. Otherwise, at home I always use it caseless. I love the thin and light feel you get without the case.
Looks dope as fuck
Just slap a DBRAND skin on it or a case. Act like nothing happened.
Hope yu got Apple care, break the front of ya phone too for a brand new device
Sometimes I don’t understand why people use iPhones without cases? Omg
I don’t like the iPhone15 it gets hot and it breaks so easily
Do you have applecare coverage?
Oh noo
I’ve purchased Apple Care after I cracked the screen on my iPhone 13 Mini one time and there was no issue. I had only had the phone for like 2 days so I was still within the timeframe to set it up.
Omg!! So sorry
I had a about dropping my iPhone
No case?
Ok
Just put a Skin And Forget About the Crack
