Just actually beat Minecraft for the first time solo after playing off and on since beta...
No idea why I hadn't gotten around to it tbh
Also before that I put a bunch of time into Far Cry 6, which was solid.

I mean, I know why I haven't yet in spite of also having played the game since beta.
... It's because I'm lazy and hate grinding for materials.
Building is just more fun and who needs to free the end anyway
I have a tendency to hop from game to game as I get new ones on sale. Typically for me to beat them, they either need to happen to be bought worth no other new games being bought for a while after, be short enough to burn through in a few days, or need to be beaten to I can interact with other people regarding the game.
I think the last game I beat was Pokemon Scarlet, which I had to beat so I could do the raids.
I have this annoying tendancy where I get near to the end of a game and just stop playing, ive done it 5 fucking times in fallout 4
That's me with Final Fantasy games. When I get to the last act, I, for some reason, just lose interest no matter how much I love it.
Same. And then when I get back to a game I have no idea what I eat doing and forgot most of the controls and feel to lazy to learn them again. So I just go play something else and the cycle repeats itself.
Mass Effect 1 a few weeks ago. Never played it before and really enjoyed it, but eventually got sick of side quests.
Started ME2, but decided to put it down for a bit so I don’t burn out.
ME series is my absolute favorite! Hope you have fun with ME2, it’s a blast.
Probably halo reach
XCOM 2.
It was fine, but a buggy mess.
Breath of the Wild. I got interested in the lead up to Tears of the Kingdom coming out. Finished it the day before. Still haven't started tears though...
TotK is very similar to BotW, not a bad idea to take a break between the two.
GRIS. Such a wonderful experience, that I highly recommend to anyone
the last of us part 1 and the dlc left behind :)
Couldn't help replaying after the tv series reignited my love for it!
I remember when last of us came out it was great :D
The most recently purchased game that I beat (aside from multiplayer only stuff like Deep Rock Galactic) would be Black Mesa. Motivation to see the overhaul of xen at the end of the game really kept me going.
I recently beat Fallout 1 again, but I was using a high intelligence, high luck gambing critical hit sniper so it was more like an experiment to break the game. I'm in the middle of a 1 intelligence playthrough and its challenging but becoming a bit routine now that I've overcome early hurdles.
Red Dead Redemption was the last game I beat, about 3 weeks ago. Currently playing Diablo 4, Tears of the Kingdom, and Marvel Snap.
Assassin's Creed Origins in a marathon to end Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla in preparation for Mirage (I have been spoiled about a major modern day spoiler that makes me hype again for the modern day story in the franchise and by extension I'm once again hype for the franchise after years without playing the games because of modern day story deception)
😵 I cant even finish odyssey a marathon sounds evil
I barely finished odyssey(main campaign + one big dlc quest), the grinding is too much I used cheat engine to help me keep resource high for upgrades.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance. And I did beat, bonked so many bandits & Cumans with my mace. I love cracking their head
Senuas' Sacrifice. Absolutely great game and one of a handful that I have completed. Which is a bad record seeing as I've been gaming on computers since the late 80's 🤣
I just finished playing Resident Evil 4 remake for the first time and I'm gonna hop back in when I have the time
Just finished Coffee Talk 2 last night, but I know I didn't get all of the best endings. I enjoyed it very much, but I just don't have the time to go back and replay for the best endings. Too many other games to play!
embarrassed to say it's Skyrim, well over a decade ago. I don't often beat games, as whenever my attention gets brought away to another thing, i want to start it over and try something different.
Last credits I saw was Mass Effect 1 (legendary edition on gamepass), last 100%ed was Psychonauts 2 - both last month(ish)
I just beat Kirby Mass Attack a few days ago. I went on a Kirby kick this year and knocked out Forgotten Land, Canvas Curse, Super Star Ultra, and Nightmare in Dreamland as well.
Dragon age inquisition. Due to a lack of time I also do not often finish games anymore.
True Pacifist Undertale just the other day. Which, to be fair, took me something like two years to get around to doing because I was way too lazy to deal with some of the ending fights of Neutral route.
Now I have the itch to go back and play EarthBound again... Which may be related to the lo-fi Mother 2 mix that got posted earlier today over in the Music community.
That's why almost only play indie games (AAA once in a blue moon), they're short, sweet, artistic, great stories and I can finish them in a few hours! I finished Kentucky Route Zero the other day.
Assassin's creed Origins was the last one I completed. Assassin's creed odyssey I was almost done with the main story and most side quests from the base game (was trying for 100%) but I lost my save somehow after formatting my pc. So I kinda fight feel like playing it anymore...
Tears of the Kingdom. Took me about 150 hours but I completed almost every shrine and I think had most of the equipment. Fantastic game with a really strong ending (though that part could've been a bit tougher in my opinion).
Basically beats BOTW in every way.
Super Mario 3D World! The last few levels of it are a major difficulty spike, but I got through them!
Now I just have to beat every level again 4 times...
Dishonored. Since then playing hl2, darkest dungeon, the witness, danganronpa and don't starve. I think it's good to have games from different genres to play so I can pick one for my mood.
Ghost of Tsushima - I collected every item, completed every challenge and was expecting something cool to happen. It did not.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Fun game, though unlike the first one, I wasn't immediately excited to keep playing for some reason.
System Shock remake. Awesome game with no hand-holding, really interesting to play.
BOTW last year lol
RDR2. Took me 3 years since I got a child shortly after beginning. The only one that I completed in the meantime was untitled goose game. Otherwise I have just played around in BeamNG or another racing game for a short while at a time.
Last new game: Hogwarts Legacy
Last game period, Mario Odyssey again, I've been watching a lot of speedrun videos and thought "yeah I can do that" but it turns out that no, I cannot do that - finished in about 3 hours, serious props to people who can do it in less time!
Pokemon Red++. Was a fun ROM Hack that just added a ton of QoL. Last original game though? Probably Scarlet Nexus.
Still trying to finish Persona 5 Royale. Main game was so fun but I'm having a hard time with the Royale content. It's just not as fun.
