The Google Play beta process was a real pain, but I'm so glad to be back.
This feels so good. Like putting on those old jeans and finding out that despite it being a decade old, it still fits you.
I grabbed the testing version because I'm very excited for Boost to return! Unfortunately I found an issue right away. It appears that the app doesn't support 2FA for instances that use it. I got an error stating "missing totp token."
I'm currently getting an error about missing my TOTP token. Have you implemented 2-factor authentication support?
It was implemented but there is a bug preventing the field to show up. Fixed for the next beta. Thanks!

Same issue here. Surprised more people don't have totp enabled.
I used to use Boost for Reddit and I will give this a try!
Is this app going to be open source? Because I had a bad experience with another Lemmy app recently stuffed full of trackers that I really don't want to repeat.
Edit: never mind, I just saw in another thread that it's not, so it's not for me.

Can you reduce the contrast of these lines
There's this general problem:
My password was too long for Sync and Voyager and now also Boost; I've been using Jerboa since it worked in that client.
Since Boost also had the issue I changed my password to a shorter one.
The old one was something like
Friday-Ramble-Patriot-Apricot5-Tractor-Litigator-Shove-Antivirus
... and the new one is shorter and is causing no issues.

Yay, it's here! My notes so far:
When I tap a comment in my replies, it takes me straight to replying to it. It'd be great if it took me to the comment in context under the post so I can upvote, downvote, reply etc rather than just reply.
I'm getting errors trying to upload images that I took with my phone camera, presumably because they're large. I'm able to upload them in Voyager, but it'd be awesome to be able to do it all from Boost.
A feature I really like from LiftOff is the ability to crop images before I upload them, could this be added?

When I press install it wants me to enter my password. When I'm back to press Install nothing happens. Whaaat.
Edit: works after about 45min. Patience ain't easy.
Edit2: You mean I can remove ads in this beautiful piece of work of an app for a normal price? Guess what! I paid! Nice work!
