Terrorism (lemmy.ml)
submitted 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) by JoMiran@lemmy.ml to c/luigimangione@lemmy.world

EDIT: The FBI has since corrected themselves and are now treating it as an act of terror.

Terrorism?

Jury nullification!

Is this Benn Jordan aka "The Flashbulb?" One of my all time favorite artists

Check out his YouTube channel. Fantastic stuff.

I'm afraid of kids who tie a quarter in the gumball machine to get free gum balls! And claw machines... They're rigged!

Terrorism!

They had to check whether Mossad did it before calling it Terrorism.

This is how much I've managed to avoid the news. This is the first I am just hearing about New Orleans.

New Orleans was founded something like 300 years ago, I wouldn't call it news!

Shhh! Thou shalt not contradict a meme!

This post should be removed since it’s patently false. They didn’t call the ceo shooting terrorism either until they learned he was shot for political reasons, which is bs but my opinion on it is irrelevant

Mate you’re not gonna get anywhere on .world, try moving the community to .ml where the adults talk.

I included the post date and time in the screenshot for context, just in case the status changed. The fact is that the Mayor's office genuinely argued that it was not an act of terrorism. That is a fact, not misinformation.

EDIT: Sorry, busy morning and got it turned around. Mayor's office said it wasn't terrorism, FBI said it wasn't but has since changed their tune.

I watched the FBI special agent in charge state on a live broadcast that it wasn't terrorism. Maybe she misspoke, maybe they changed their position. But don't claim this is spreading false information
