Now please all aboard the SpaceX rocket everybody! A 6 barrel revolver with a single bullet is added for a fun game of Russian roulette. Just to out your mind at ease, the gun is not the biggest threat to your life.

akchually this can be legitimately spinned in favour of tesla

police are already saying that the explosion wasn’t as bad because it went off inside a cybertruck

[–] Kalysta@lemm.ee 10 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Except in the case of an accidental fire, apparently the doors lock down and trap the drivers? That’s what I took away.

How is that better?

While parked if the car no longer detects a key it locks. It's still easy to open from inside. Emergency services can gain entry with an angle grinder

I'm sure during a collision they unlock

In this case I think the key went offline due to the explosion

Which is a weird fucking thing for a cop to immediately say when police also said explosion included "an electric vehicle" that they wouldn't specifically identify right away.

If Trump were already in office I would still think they were covering it up with the claims of explosives.

conspiracy in my opinion: that guy was shot in the head and dumped into that car and then blown up for threatening to out Trump or Musk for some dirty dirty shit.

Someone threatened a powerful person and then the powerful person made sure to retaliate in a highly public way which would link their own brand to the murder?

Sometimes I wonder why my conservative family thinks that liberals are just as conspiratorial as conservatives, then I come across the comment you responded to and go "yeaaaah still don't agree but I see where you would think that" lol

[–] brbposting@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I hope it’s not as bad

If the stop the steal people and the flat earth people all appreciate being a part of an “in group“, I wonder what the liberal version is

It's definitely not as bad, I'm just saying that it helps enable whataboutism

[–] psud@aussie.zone 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Well that's the most fun conspiracy I've seen yet. Unfortunately it doesn't work as there is video of the vehicle stopping, no one getting in or out, then it exploding

[–] Snapz@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Ummm, didn't musk actually just hold a snake oil press party were he had people remotely drive his vehicles and told the sycophants it was perfect safe robot magic driving the cars?

Kind of fucks your rebuttal there... What else you got?

[–] psud@aussie.zone 1 points 1 week ago

No idea, I really don't follow Musk. The vehicles can drive themselves though so sure
