It could have been Gündoğan year but Germany was atrocious in the world cup. What will have more weight, international or club success?

The list of women is solid. I wouldn't want to have to pick a favorite from this list.

Halland deserves it. But we all know that Messi will take this one home, unfairly.

Haaland has no international record in this year of the world cup, maybe next year? Messi delivered in the world cup and shinning in the MLS.

No Ronaldo, and lots of players who I can't understand the reason for being on there like Alvarez.

Ronaldo didn’t achieve anything last season. Why would he be included?

Alvarez was part of the teams that won the Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League and the World Cup. I think his inclusion is more than fair.

It was just notable that he finally isn't on the list. Being part of a team shouldn't mean they're automatically on it.

Despite his 17 goals in all competitions it wasn't a great season for Ronaldo compared to others on the list.
