The surging popularity of the Elizabeth line, and how it encourages people to switch to public transport will be held up as another example of how investing in public transport across the entire UK will see a shift change in how people travel for work and pleasure.

I've had to cross London a few times to get to the Excel centre, and the Elizabeth line has slashed the time and effort getting from Paddington.

Its been amazing.

It's fantastic, isn't it? Being able to get to TCR without changing beats the hell out of faffing around with Waterloo or Paddington.

It's also good for getting flights from LCY.
