@BroBot9000 I despise this kind of filmmaking. Flat out a shot for shot do-over with minimal new creative input. What a waste of everyoneβs time and talent.
Live action? I really liked the animated movies and how the characters actually aged. The main character started as a kid and by the end he was a bearded dad
Why are they just remaking a movie that already exists instead of trying something else? Idk, I've always just wanted a faithful adaptation of the books.
Yah, could've a side story in the same universe. The original age well, not sure why it need a "refresh".
Because money
I know but artistically, it looks like your doing a search and replace for CG characters and dropping in real live people.
Yeah, but if they made it completely different, then people would complain about that.
I hope not.
As opposed to every other movie that is released to make... Money
Oh.... Oh no....
The lighting looks fake, the acting is bland...
Man they had to ruin HTTYD too, huh...
I'd argue they already did that with 3.
Valve never makes 3 and DreamWorks always fuck it up.
Tbf Witcher 3 and Toy Story 3 is good.
Well, firstly money. Secondly the franchise is just laying around.
I will happily watch this.
