A source within Google has told Android Authority that Google plans to basically turn Chrome OS into Android.

Maybe this also means that they will finally force developers to actually provide a tablet/big screen layout if they want to be installable on tablets/laptops from the play store.

Combined with the new desktop and window features that are coming that could maybe turn Android tablets into something useful
