Terrarium, not a petri dish

So an all-inclusive resort?

[–] 200ok@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

More "lizard on a rock". Less "bandaid in the buffet".

I don't really need vacations, what I need is to work like 2 days a week.

[–] RamblingPanda@lemmynsfw.com 15 points 1 week ago

I do this. But then I work three more, which is horrible 😞

That's basically an all-in resort

From what I hear those are very bad at that.

Cruises are great as an all-inclusive, as far as I’ve found the two I’ve been on. Although they’re very clean, some people will complain about them being high spreaders of illness… which I haven’t experienced personally. Then there’s also the environmental impact. And if you have bad motion sickness, there’s that too.

But, ignoring those issues this fits the bill for the OP image. An alternative would be an all-inclusive resort.

Or just go to an all inclusive resort, which is like a cruise, but without the boat.

I mean, sure... That’s why I mentioned it as an alternative all-inclusive experience that also fits what OP was going for, as part of my original comment.

But did you remember to mention all inclusive resorts? You really should if you haven't already.

What about all-inclusive hotels? Are those a thing? Or all-inclusive bed and breakfasts? Or all-inclusive Asian massage parlor (happy ending all-included)? All-inclusive airport lounges?

I'd live in a zoo if I got a solid gaming rig with broadband access as an engagement item.

Ah, streamer, then

I really need to approach vacations like this from now on. Budgeting accordingly. But like, I tend to make myself do too much work, instead of just being.

IF tell me you are a Gecko or Iguana without saying so was a tweet.

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee 2 points 1 week ago

I couldn't agree with this more. I need a vacation.

No, no, once you're a parent you just want someone else to take care of your hellspawn for a day. I can handle making myself a frozen pizza tyvm.
