They should have had the vampire crew get inspired and really try to conquer the "new world", until they realize it was already conquered by another type of vampire, the Bourgeoisie. Then the vampires get a crash course on being woke and not eating people from Guillermo and they're all boomer about it. Eventually they construct a wooden steak on a guillotine type contraption to mass execute billionaire vampires and landlords
