The last government spent 14 years trying to cut all the shit which in their opinion we didn't need. Spoiler: a lot of people have suffered a great deal because of those cuts. What exactly do you think is unneeded and can be cut further?

The thing about shrinking the state as a political ideology is that its logical conclusion is anarchy. We're currently at the stage where public services are failing, the assets have almost all been sold, millions of children are going hungry, and untreated sewage contaminates every river. At what point do you say maybe more cuts aren't actually making things better and we need to start investing instead?
