This version of The Golden Compass takes some serious liberties.

My head canon for this pic is that the bear isn’t driving the mech. He’s just along for the ride and having a great time.

Hah, this is actually awesome.

Good move for polar bears to join the Tau. It might allow their species to survive.

Now that's a panserbjorn!

Polar bears are scary enough and thermally invisible.

How do you get results like this when combining non-humans with things humans usually do, like stand up and hold stuff. I’ve tried generating bears holding stuff and it always turns out funky

prompt was: ((((mecha polar bear With cannons and lasers)))) megaboss absolute boss (((absolutely beautiful))) (((towering))) (((imopsing))) (((intimidating))) chaos carnage (((power))) (((wtf))) (((extremely powerful))) (((legendary))) (((((war))))) ((masterpiece)) ((illustration)) ((best quality))

yes imopsing instead of imposing, lol. I had actually tried a bunchon SD1.5 for this and kept getting the type you are talking about like this:

so i moved the prompt to various SDXL models and, without anything else, they became anthropomorphized robot polarbears like you see in the main image. So, in answer, SD version and Model determined that ~not prompt.

Dang I was really hoping it wasn’t just SD. I don’t want to have to go run it all locally again. Such a pain

first https://perchance.org/beautiful-people but they all turned out horrid i think cuz it was on SD1.5 so then to https://playground.com/create for a few free generations (used to be much more free but that's a place that has limited what they allow more and more so it's now nothing like it used to be)

What drove this poor bear to this?

[–] Gurei@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 month ago

Heroscape revenue.

[–] 4oreman@lemy.lol 1 points 1 month ago

a polar bear does not need this.

it is already very powerful.
