@OutofPrintArchive@mstdn.games At the time, I had owned an Atari ST for a few years. I loved it but was jealous of the games on my friends Amiga.

Then another friend turned up to the computer club (yes, I'm that nerdy) with his Atari Jaguar.

AvP and Tempest 2000 blew me away and I desperately wanted that machine.

What stopped me? My Dad said he didn't want be getting a games console, would I prefer a PC instead? ๐Ÿ˜

Dodged a bullet there! ๐Ÿ˜…
The system certainly had some great games, but I can't image anyone not being disappointed if they went with it as their main system.

I missed out on a ton of systems.
Nearly all the micro systems actually.
Although I played the C64 at a friends house back in the day.
Never really clicked with me enough to want one though.

I was happy with all the Nintendo and Sega consoles instead. Coupled with arcade games and MS-Dos ones.

@OutofPrintArchive@mstdn.games My friend went all in. He even got hold of the CD add-on drive!
