First comment on here! Trying to get the hang of things. So, in theory we can use accounts from Lemmy, Kbin and Mastodon interchangably, right? What's your optimal way of browsing the Fediverse on Android?

How can I fix my comments section? Is there no way to sort it?
you can't make me
Sure, sure...
My goal is to surpass my comment total from my 10+ year reddit account within a couple months. Off to a great start and having fun doing it.
The chance of having a meaningful interaction is much higher here than on reddit, where it felt like shouting into the void most of the time.
I'm doin what I can.
I do my best :)
I've only posted and commented here a few times, but each time it's felt fun and positive. The polar opposite of posting on reddit. This place makes me want to contribute and make more OC!

I have been using KBIN since yesterday and Lemmy since the beginning of June. I was completely convinced that the Up Arrow was an Upvote until i saw this post. What kind of bonkers design decision was this? I know that Kbin wants to differentiate itself from Reddit, but this is really counterintuitive.
Counterpoint: Lower content flow isn't the end of the world. Even if people don't comment, we don't need to immediately replace all the content reddit bots have been pumping out. We can lay back and do things at our own pace.
Honestly, I enjoy conversation much better on here, people tend to be nicer, more insightful, and less likely to troll. It reminds me of old PHPBB days
Eh, I love scrolling through long Reddit threads tbh
I, for one, have found it much easier to post here and engage. It feels easier with smaller communities, and kind of starting over.
Thank you for the reminder.
It's so easy to fall back into mindless scrolling; I'm needing to remember to make a concerted effort.
As mostly a former lurker on Reddit, I decided creating a community (!windowsxp@sh.itjust.works) would be a good way to help the platform grow. Having more niche communities is never a bad thing
