Is there an epub reader that can limit the number of chapters read within a timeframe? (kbin.social)

I would like to better manage my time reading and not get carried away. While I can set a time limit on any ebook app, I would prefer to limit myself by amount read (e.g. words, pages, chapters) so that rushing through the story is not incentivised.

I use an android device but feel free to mention apps on any platform.

You can set app timers in Android system settings under Focus/Work modes etc like you say. But as far as I know there's no app that does what you say.

It would be an interesting feature to have for sure!
