Sometimes I really hate my setup (i9 & 3060ti)

Also, peeps get really aggressive if you recommend amd over nvidia for new linux gamers. Have recently criticized them for posting how nvidia is fine although only a handful of distros work well with them oob. Currently on debian stable/kde. No chance to have an oob good experience. Wayland doesnt work, cs2 is a stuttery mess, ga3 freezes constantly if you put the seetings up a bit. If you start changing stuff in the console, it is probably solvable but the amount of folks just saying everyone should get into the cli is just baffling to me. Rant over. Have a nice day. :)

Do you know which distros have a good OOB Nvidia experience? A friend of mine has been wrestling with EndeavourOS and hasn’t had much luck.

None from personal experience but I heard pop os would be okay to use. Other than that just check old posts in this community.
