I thought I was on top of everything, but I decided to leave making the cheesecake until today, but now I've realised we don't have the right kind of pan. Recipe calls for a 22cm round spring form, we don't even have any round pans, let alone a spring form one :/

We also only have baking trays (like what you'd make cookies on), so I can't even substitute it for a rectangle or square pan

The only thing I can think of is we have cupcake trays, so I'm wondering if I should try to make cheesecake cupcakes instead. I realllllllly don't want to have to venture on the bus down to Kmart

My old Melbourne Kmart was 24hr. I wonder whether it stayed open for Christmas?

Edit: just looked them up - no longer 24hr. Can't say I'm too surprised, I always wondered who would visit Kmart at 3am and why. They're open 8-Midnight these days. And yes, they close at 10pm tonight.

My Kmart when I lived in a country town was open 8am-midnight. Coles was 6-midnight. Everything stopped being open late during COVID times and things never went back to usual.

I used to hang out in the 24hr Kmart in Burwood (still 24/7, fyi, and there's also a 24/7 Chinese restraint next to it too) at my last place when things got abusive. If I had to flee on a weekend, I'd just chill on the trains and night buses all night, but on weeknights I would take the last 75 out to Burwood and very slowly and meticulously look at every item in excruciating detail then head over to the Coles and if I had money grab a drink. So me + really really tired parents seen to be the main demographic of 24 hour kmarts

My Kmart is open til 8 (which was like an hour after I posted that), and I don't have a car so it would've been a walk, bus, and another walk
