I need a good (hopefully free) PC screen recorder, any suggestions? (alien.top)

I just started gaming on PC. Mobile screen recorders are free, and console has one built into it. I want to record myself playing on PC but most of the recorders I come across are freemium.

OBS for actually recording. But if you have an NVIDIA gpu and only want bits and pieces of gameplay, GeForce Experience has an overlay that you can save parts of gameplay up to (I think) 30 minutes

Xbox overlay's also got a recorder and instant replay recorder in there already as well
