I have a Netgear Orbi 850 router. All my Ethernet cables are Cat 6 since the router is a Wifi 6. If I were to buy 6E cables… 1 would it make any devices as to how fast the data loads on my devices and 2. Would my router even recognize that speed at all? Just curious. I’m about to get a new Apple TV Box because it now has a Gigabit port on it. I have Gigspeed internet.

There is no such thing as cat 6E cables. Also, matching the wifi number to the cable category number is unnecessary and pointless.

Cat 6 will support 1 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps and 5 Gbps to a distance of 100 metres, and 10 Gbps to a distance of ~55 metres.

Keep your cat 6 cables and don’t waste your money.
