Correct me if I'm wrong... was it Fortnite? If not, they sure did popularize it. Most games I play have it now and due to my severe FOMO I grind to finish limited time events and battle passes. It's starting to feel like a chore and unfun. Not to mention time consuming. I don't wanna bother with them anymore.

I hate fortnite, but i think mobile games had them first.
