Is it normal to just... fall off, and not be as good at gaming? Because I feel like I've been getting worse for a while now.

It is okay to play games on Normal instead of Hard.

It is okay to look up information online.

It is okay to ask others for help.

Sometimes we need to return to our core, and spend some time enjoying a single player game that doesn't care if you're good or not, but cares if you are having fun or not.

Tbh, a lot of games don't have the best balance for difficulties imo. Normal being far too easy for a skilled gamer, but hard being a lot harder than I'd like. In DMC 5 for example, even the hard mode is too easy for most of the game. But then Dante Must Die mode is brutal. I kinda want something in between for casual play.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake has a fantastic Hard Mode. All bosses are balanced for a character at Level 50 (which is the games level cap) and takes away your ability to use items. There are a few bosses that can feel overwhelming but anyone who knows Square Enix knows there are cheeky methods of cheesing a few of them available to the player. The big drawback is it is locked behind beating Normal Mode if you're a one and done kind of gamer.
