This is the first daily discussion thread I've encountered on Lemmy.

I used to find them interesting on R't.

I'm six hours north near Armidale and enjoying the few days of scattered rain we've had. I thought we were staring towards a long drought but so far the rain has been good to us.

The threads have been daily as far as I can see..? Just not very active, which is a shame.

Yeah you're probably right. A robot may be creating them, but it's up to us to populate them.

I lived in Greater Sydney many years ago, but now my only relationship with it is being a regular ABC Sydney listener.

Interesting that Josh Szeps has given his notice because he's 'too spicy' for them. I haven't checked his poddie yet so I can decide if he's a nutter outside of the ABC confines or if he actually has sane arguments for his uncomfortable opinions. Hopefully it's the latter as he presents well.

I turned it off for the first time in a while recently though - they played the 100 years of broadcasting message once too often and it's getting repetitive.
