I made a piece of cloth for over the shoulder and finished with biaisband. It is to catch any throw up from my baby after feeding.
I made pockets at each end to catch throw up from pouring over the edge. It's not really how I intended it to end up. But I will test it and improve it with the next few.
Working with biaisband is new for me. It's time consuming, but gives a nice result!
I hope you found a solution that works for you! I can recommend hemming skirts with bias, I find it a lot easier and faster (maybe it feels faster because I am not struggling, which I would not mind)
I find locking it with my overlock a lot faster and easier. The result looks less finished though. Maybe locking with a nice colour thread could give it a nice touch.
I’ve also seen a biasband foot, made for stitching with biasband on my sewing machine. But maybe I have a tendency to solve problems with machines too much..
