Some say older pixels (4 or 5) have longer battery life and no (or minimal?) overheat issues when compared to Tensor chip devices. Is this true?

I haven't tried any pixels yet and I'm planning to buy one even if its one of the old Snapdragon phones if that is recommended. I plan to use the device for long duration of video recording. So something with good camera and doesn't overheat.

im a moderate to low phone user. my phone will last 1-2 days. its a pixel 8 pro with grapheneos. only overheating i get is during charging, usually in a warm location like my car, or if an app is being dumb and needs nudging into place.
