I primarily like psychological and sci-fi films, movies like

Gattaca: mostly love the colors, cinematography, props, and general feel of the suspense of being caught.

Bladerunner: again I like the colors and the stellar cinematography, props and sets are really good.

The Machinist: similar to the movie Enemy, I consider this to be one of my favorite films, the score is really fascinating but I love the silence in these films, there’s also a darkness almost like dream like / night mare like feeling to them I can’t describe but I say recommending films similar to these films would be nice.

Suspiria: another one of my favorite films, the use of color is great, I like the slow progression and the relationship between characters. The acting is really good too. I have to give my respects to the original that came out in the 70s/80s as the sets are spectacular but the story is vastly different. I prefer the newer adaptation it feels like it compliments the time it was set in well.

Just a few of the films I want recommendations for thanks for helping

Most of these aren't really sci-fi, but are at least visually stunning:
The Fall (2006) (directed by Tarsem Singh),
2001: A Space Odyssey (Kubick, obvs),
Hero (2002) (by Yimou Zhang),
House of Flying Daggers (2004) (also by Yimou Zhang),
Tears for Sale (2008) (from Serbia, by Uros Stojanovic)
